On Tuesday, June 5th Chef Jeremy is preparing a dinner in honor of the late Hungarian restaurateur George Lang. While hospitality was his passion, so was bringing Hungarian cuisine to the culinary forefront through his work as an author, critic and journalist. He also helped pioneer landmarks such as The Four Seasons, The Waldorf Astoria, and his own Café Des Artistes. We'll be serving a five course meal inspired by his ideal final meal (as told to the Village Voice in 2007), which includes Hungarian delicacies from sour cherry soup to stuffed cabbage to crèpes with apple meringue.
